About iTrace
The iTrace Foundation promotes healthy living for South Florida residents through evidence-based health outcomes research. We understand that improving personal health and well being requires the collaboration of individuals, families, schools, communities, health care providers, industry and the government.
Our History
Founded in 2009 by a small group of community conscious individuals, the iTRACE Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of living in the South Florida community and beyond. From our humble beginnings, iTRACE has quickly established itself at the forefront of preventative and healthy living organizations. From funding collaborative research studies to sponsoring healthy living projects and events, our members and strategic partners are devoted to ensuring and maintaining healthy living one community at a time.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote healthy living for South Florida residents. By actively engaging in outcomes-based research, iTrace educates targeted populations to manage their own health (and quality of life) through a series of preventive, incremental and sustainable measures. We work to achieve the following goals:
- To decrease childhood overweight and obesity
- To increase physical activity across the lifespan
- To promote life-saving, low-cost preventive health measures
Our achievement of these goals should make a lasting, positive impact on the residents of Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.
